Huts
(Refuges, Rifugi): |
Most of them are staffed, it costs around 12 euro for a
bunk and about the same for a copious set meal, hot shower when
available is 2 to 4 euros. In France only, a cooking area is generally
available for self sufficient trekkers, often with gas burners in the
Alps. |
Bivouac: |
Is generally allowed in Parks, that is, a small tent
pitched from 7:00 PM to 9:00 am, more than 1h from the park boundary. |
